We are all connected through certain experiences both positive and negative: coming out, bullying, pride, etc. Here at Pride Matchmaking, we are all about transparency. We want you to feel informed about every step of our process. Below is a basic breakdown of what we offer, and how we operate:
Step 1: Book A Consultation
You can start the process of becoming a member of Pride Matchmaking by first booking a consultation through the Get Started page. One of our representatives will call you within 24-48 hours and provide you more information about our services. They will also answer any questions you might have and help you evaluate whether our service might be suitable for you.
Step 2: Discovery
Your matchmaker will spend about an hour talking with you to learn all they can about you, and to get an insight into your relationship goals. Everyone is different, especially when it comes to their love life! Some of our members want to date casually; some others are looking to get married in the next 5 years. Based on what your matchmaker learns in this interview, we will design what we call a “love strategy”. This is basically a roadmap toward your relationship destination!
Step 3: We go to Work!
Your matchmaker will use the information from the interview and start matching you with other local LGBT singles. You will be updated as and when they have a match selected for you. You will be able to see the match selected for you and will make the decision to either move forward with a date or tell your matchmaker why you would not like to proceed. We don’t do blind matchmaking, so you will review all the details about the person your matchmaker matches you with. Only after you are satisfied with the information and are actually interested in meeting your potential match will your matchmaker proceed to arrange an in-person date for you.
The date will also be based on your preferences – would you rather meet over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, or are you ready for a dinner date? You call the shots and your matchmaker will make it happen! Our goal is for you to actually meet quality, local LGBT singles that are interested in meeting you based on who you are. Have questions about what to wear on your date, or whether you should bring flowers? Your matchmaker will be there to help you with date coaching, love counseling, and first impression management!
Step 4: Feedback
Your matchmaker will get your feedback after each date and tweak your “love strategy” based on this feedback. This is how we make sure that the future matches we provide you are closer to what you have in mind!
